Sleepyjohn Posted March 24, 2010 ID:221034 Share Posted March 24, 2010 I have a Toshiba laptop running XP SP3. I had/just got rid of a bad virus infection. I installed Malwarebytes to check/ clean malicious softeware infections from this laptop. The downloaded copy of Malwarebytes had a definitions file from 1/7/2010 and found/removed 114 infections. However, when I try to download updates off of the internet, I get the "Error 732 (12026)" error message. This laptop doesn't use Internet Explorer, it uses Mozilla Firefox. I just installed IE8 and I am not having much luck making it open or connect to the internet. Mozilla still works fine.Any suggestions?
