Registry Data Items Infected:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoActiveDesktopChanges (Hijack.DisplayProperties) -> Bad: (1) Good: (0) -> No action taken.

is it safe to let malwarebytes remove this? wanted to check first

Don't touch it. Just a normal display - NOT really infected..

@blake001

I would do a daily scan since the definitions are continually updated throughout the day. I have my 1.44 version set to check for updates at 4 a.m. and do a scan at 5 am every day on my xp machine. I leave my computer on 24/7...

In the new version 1.45 you have some more options for updating and scanning...
