Error: @AvgErrorCode_0x0253 %FILE% = "C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8" @AvgErrorCode_0x0020I cant even do a scan because the anti virus program has expiered anyone know whats happening and how i can remove it?It wont let me download anything ..it says its downloading and then disappears...i have done all my windows updates . How long has this been happening?Try restarting your computer, then using an Administrator account, go to add/remove programs and try to uninstall AVG.Let me know what happens. dkinkley Posted March 21, 2010 Author ID:218863 Share Posted March 21, 2010 I havent made any changes ....i came on it yesterday and it started this.I havent had a virus that i know of myfree trial ran out 2 days ago and i was replacing..well trying to get a new anti virus program .My windows security says malware protection is turned off I tried to turn it on but it wont let me.I have tried system restore and everything not working.
