Using a free key from WHERE, a keygen or something? Either way, that is ILLEGAL, not to mention ethically wrong. I sure hope you aren't doing that. Not to mention keygens, cracks, etc... themselves more often than not contain malware....

Hi TechyFixer and welcome to malwarebytes'!

If you obtained a free key somewhere such as limewire or something, eventually it will get blacklisted change back to the free edition without warning.. I know from experience. It won't even work for the person who originally purchased it before sharing(at least I think so).

The only key you should be using is either one that you purchased or one that was purchased and given to you as a gift and you are the ONLY user of it

As for making the Mbam program a virus, no of course not, but a keygen to register Mbam will rightly be detected and identified as something like this by Malwarebytes:

DO.NOT.STEAL.OUR.SOFTWARE

Still that's not entirely legal. I highly suggest you stop using those and consider purchasing a legal license. Although those are probably legally obtained, it is not for sharing and I believe is in the EULA during installation.
