New Website Design

I thought I was the only spelling/english compulsive person here, but it seems you are smitten with the same compulsion. LOL♥♥♥

*A typo:

Multi-lingual support.

//

Hmm. Lingual is Ok indeed. Sorry for that. I though it is ment to be Multi-langual, but it's wrong.

*Double click the downloaded file to install the application on your computer.

Should be changed to

Double click on the downloaded file to install the application on your computer.

It is my opinion.

*And, that Usage section should also speak about updating (to update before scanning)

Nice work btw!

New design is alright but just looking back at what was brought up by catscomputer, where are the links to things like MalwareNET? Site design has the Web 2.0 look but lacks in basic functionality. I'm sure you'll resolve these problems soon.

swagger

Few suggestions & I apologize in advance if they have already been asked

  1. Adding three fields Date, Database version, and Fingerprints loaded with dynamic update
  2. Comparison chart between Free version and Full version
  3. Downloadable/Online Flash movie for installation and configuration

These are all things we're exploring, so keep an eye out for future changes.

I see no difference.

That's probably because this thread was started literally months before you joined the forums, so you probably have only seen the new theme.

Have you considered integrating the forums into the main website (So it looks the same?)

Yes actually, we're in the process of testing an ipb3 compatible theme that is much closer to our current site design than this one.

Great site,good work !

User friendly and easy to navigate, novices such as myself find most websites ( especially those with lots of Flash Animations, loads of tabs and drop menus) rather disconcerting as we are unsure as to where to click or indeed what we

are clicking on!

I like the suggestion of a 'Comparison ' section betwixt the different versions of MBAM available, the pros and cons, what each offers regards Protection,Scanning etc..

One idea that came to me was a 'Totaliser' feature, a sort of clock showing a running total of the number of Malwares destroyed, a bit like a list of fingerprints counting up if you like.

That would underline the constant battle between the Malware instigators and guys like the MBAM team and encourage many more people to install MBAM and make a stand against those people who get some sort of kick out of

spreading their trash all over the Internet, having the physical proof counting up before their eyes should do it.

Best wishes,

TerryFP.

Hi TerryFP,

We have something like that (though not particularly flashy); see here:
