Version 1.44 IP Protection on or off is inconsistent

I want IP Protection on at all times, unless I specifically want to turn it off, or unless I specifically want to make an exception of an IP address. However often when I boot up my computer or reboot it IP Protection is NOT checked, and I cannot check it to make it turn on. I can stop and start protection and it makes no difference. I then reboot the computer and it is back on, showing as checked. It is this inconsistency that is frustrating. Is there any KNOWN registry switch or any other technique that will turn on IP Protection when it is not showing as on?

I use F-Prot for my AV and also run Comodo Firewall PRO, plus have Spybot installed and protection turned on.

Will 1.45 help solve this problem too?

That explains the IP protection unit and settings , and then also make sure these exclusions are added to your AV and Firewall -

Version 1.45 is almost ready (a week or so) but I am not 100% sure how many of your problems this will overcome -

As you do not list your Operating System (XP / Vista / Win7) I have included ALL options - Also add to your firewall -

Exclude Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware's Files and Folders From Other Active Security Programs:

Note: If using a software firewall besides the built in Windows Firewall you'll need to exclude MBAM.EXE from it as well
