Windows XP Desktop Goes Blank

Recommended Posts

I had a virus yesterday where when I google searched something, then clicked a result, it would just redirect me to some random webpage. When I went to use malwarebytes it could not find the mbam.exe. Since I have had that problem before and you guys helped me out, I refollowed the same steps to get it back working. After scanning the computer and finding a couple of Trojan viruses and cleaning the computer. Now when I start my comp, right in the begin it will look like it is starting up, but then all of my desktop icons disappearand I can't do anything. The bottom bar is also not the blue XP color it is a light grey. When I Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart it says that explorer.exe is not responding to End Now. My comp is fine in Safe Mode. Any ideas? Thank you.

Please note that it may take 72 hours or more for you to receive a response in the malware removal forum, as it is often busy at times.
