The Ikarus engine does detect it as "Virus.Win32.Obfuscator"

I did report it to a-squared. Today, the issue doesn't show up. They must have already fixed it. Thank you.

Virus.Win32.Obfuscator!IK

Hi. Just wanted to make a comment, this is a heuristic detection by Ikarus engine, because of the way the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware driver functions.

The Obfuscator infection, is one that avoids detection by anti-virus scanners. The driver in MBAM operates similar, except it avoids interrogation by malware, so that it can operate and scan the computer properly.
