Bluescreen after using malware

Ok used malware to remove internetsecurity2010 on a friends pc, done the scan all went well said it removed everything then asked to restart, on restart windows starts loading then i get a bluescreen for about .1 of asecond then the pc restarts, i don't get a chance to read the bluescreen, just woundering if anyone can help since this has been caused by malware.

It may be too late to try the above, and I would suggest booting to XP cd if this is XP or the UBCD4 if Vista or Win 7 and running "chkdsk /r" as removal may have done dome damage to an already weak hard drive....
