Speed Reduction Using IP Protection

Edit-Ok.

No, not using Comodo firewall.

I have read the info on the link you provided numerous times but cannot discern if I am better off with the Pro version if I turn the IP Protection off.

Another question pertaining to this.

If I turn off "IP Protection" do I still get any realtime protection that is any different from the free version of Malwarebytes?

What operating system are you using? There are some users with Vista/Win7 that do experience this issue while others do not. Exactly why some users do and others do not, we're not sure yet as we've not been able to track down the common element between them.

You can try to temporarily disable the IP protection when you need to transfer large files or you permanently disable it, see the pinned FAQ subject.

File protection and IP protection are different modules so even if IP protection is disabled the File protection still works.

Vista Home Premium 32bit

I guess the second part means if the IP protection is off it kind of like having my force field down but my troops will try and protect my files.
