How to remove the registration information from the PC

Hi all,

I have just uninstalled Mbam and when i reinstalled it i noticed that the program was still registered with the previous serial number so when Mbam gets uninstalled it doesnt remove the registration information. I am just wondering what i have to delete to remove the registration information from my PC.

To remove the registration information.

1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
   
2. Restart your computer (very important).
   
3. Download and run this utility. mbam-clean.exe
   
4. It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).
   
5. After the restart the registration information will be completely removed.
   

If you have already uninstalled MBAM and rebooted, just run mbam-clean.exe and reboot again. The registration information will then be gone.

A related question - after running MBAM-CLEAN.EXE and rebooting, can the ID and Serial Number be reused on a different computer?
