downloading malwarebytes

Hello sledgge, and welcome to the forums here at Malwarebytes.org B)

Major Geeks is actually one of the approved download mirror sites for Malwarebytes B) The site has not been hijacked. I always use Major Geeks now when I download Malwarebytes.

I use this page here:

Then click on one of the links named below (on the link I gave you):

Hi sledgge and welcome to malwarebytes'!

Also note that malwarebytes' is not a trial. It is a fully functional program. The only difference between the free and paid, is that without an ID and key, the protection tab only shows a register and purchase button as well as the cost to buy. Other then the protection tab unavailability for free users it is exactly the same. B)

That is not quite true. The paid version offers automated updates, live continuous file blocking protection, and live continuous IP blocking protection. The free version only supports manual free detection and removal.
