Elfman Posted March 4, 2010 ID:209319 Share Posted March 4, 2010 What an awesome service.Okay, late last week, went to run the Malwarebytes and started with the update. Update failed with an error code 721 (0,28). After that, I reinstalled Malwarebytes and found that I could now get updates, but when scanning, it would run for about 1.5 hours and then I'd recieve an error from MS. Once it said something about a stack error, but subsequent reinstalls and and scans failed with just a MS failure message.I found a thread here for an error code for 721 (0,5) and followed the instructions found in 'I'm infected - What do I do now?' after trying the reinstallation instructions found in the thread (which obviously didn't work).I saved the reports that I was instructed to do and have attached them in the zip file. One problem I did have was with GMER rootkit scanner. I could not get the thing to run with the boxes unchecked as instructed. Eachtime I unchecked the boxes and ran the scan, I got the blue screen of death. So I ran the scan with the defaults cuz that would run with out problem.That is all I got.
