Protection Mode Malicious Pop-pu

Hi,

The IP Protection pop-up is displaying every few seconds. It doesn't matter whether I am in a browser or not. There seems to be many similar IP address being displayed. Is this normal or do I possibly have some malware on my machine that is trying to contact these IP addresses? I've run a Malaware full scan and SpyBot scan and everything is coming back clean.

Are you running any P2P sw? I've seen the same situation while running P2P sw (eg. emule, thunder etc.)

I was using Torrent but deleted it before several days before I installed the IP protection. I don't think it is the P2P. I just tried accessing the MS windows update site and any other site and I can not. I turned on my MS Updates earlier today and looked at the log and saw that the updater could not access the site. Again, SpyBot and MalwareBytes is stating the machine is clean - but I'm not so sure.

What IP pops up when you are trying to load www.update.microsoft.com ?

Pls make sure you internet connection setting is correct (section D):

and make sure Proxy server is unchecked.
