A few problems

Recommended Posts

Ok, first of all, I did something stupid. I ran something against my own better judgment and against what avast anti-virus said. I've been trying to locate and remove all of the stuff I can find. However, I can't use Malwarebytes at all, my anti-virus isn't fully operational, can not boot into safe mode, at all, nothing works. I have installed a few things since I go this thing, and I have ran a number of scans. I've done my best to delete, and get rid of, what I can. I am also running gmer, and a scan for avast. The follow is my HijackThis log:

I will, of course, uninstall, once more, malwarebytes, and try cleaning it, and reinstalling it, after gmer is done.

Hi SirTwist and welcome to malwarebytes'!

Please download and install the latest version of hijackthis as yours is majorly out of date. See here. http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/

Make sure to download the 2.0.2 version as the other is still a beta and not ready for official release. After that follow the instructions here.

We don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in the general forums.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.

Well, to update things, I got malwarebytes back up and running. I've also update the hijack this. I'm currently running a gmer scan. With malwarebytes running again, I can get rid of some stuff. Here's an updated log file. If I'm in the wrong place, then I'll add to the right place soon enough. I can't get DDS because something is preventing me from getting it. I don't think there's a broken link, I'm pretty sure it's on my end.
