Hi, that would be normal. You just have to click once on 'Enable all protection' .

Afterwards you can close the program, but it will protect you . Even if you reboot the computer, it will protect you, you don't have to click on 'enable all protection' everytime.

Ideally you can update it once a week, then click on "enable all protection", to make sure you are protected with the latest definitions.
