This is my only other problem .

When watching video on embedded player regardless of site the player crashes ( not the browser , just the player ) It says it's encountered a problem and needs to close and the little screen goes black with a puzzle shaped dazed face icon . This happens a whole lot with both Firefox and Chrome . I follow several news and anime series , and it's so much faster to play it at the site rather then download it and play it on GOM player . I have read that other people are having this problem as well . Can anybody help .

Hi skybane -

Do you watch these or download these from a Torrent site (eg. Pirate Bay or similar) ??

Sorry if it was asked in your last thread , but what version of antivirus do you run ??

I hope you fully deleted Memtest86 via Add/Remove in control panel or in Windows Explorer , if it still exists -

Thanks - :)

Hello again noknojon . I'm talking about watching them at sites like CNN and GoodAnime or anysite where they have an embedded player .

I have not had any problems with downloading and watching stuff on my GOM player . I try to avoid torrent sites when possible .

I have the Comodo Security suite which has full time protection with antivirus , and run Win Patrol and Spyware Blaster full time .

I scan regularly with the Comodo , SpyBot S&D , Malwarebytes , Super Antispyware .

I check often with Autorun eater , Startuplite , WWDC .

I carefully use CCleaner , Privacy Mantra , Glary utilities , Secunia PSI , CNET tech tracker , FileHippo update checker and Driver Detective .

Yes , I removed memtest

Hi Skybane,

I personally don't recommend comodo at all. I would consider replacing comodo for MSE and Online Armor free. They both do a great job. Also I have had problems with flash player to. The only way I have gotten it to work is without service pack 1. It seems that when I reinstall windows and upgrade to service pack 1 it won't work on some sites such as download.com. I have had to risk the internet without security and install it, then it works after service pack 1. I'm not really sure why, but that is the only solution I have found. :)

Fixed !!!!! I had to get the stand alone adobe flash uninstaller , the stand alone installers for IE and for Firefox . I then locked down my firewall , then ran the uninstaller , then opened windows add or remove programs , removed both adobe flash ( it will tell you the programs are not found , and ask if you want to remove them from the list , select yes ) then you use the stand alone installers . then you are done !!!! Now when you play a video or clip on any site with IE , Firefox , Chrome , or Opera , it plays immediately with no buffering pauses , freezes , or crashes . Hooray !!!!!

I had previously tried several times to uninstall them through add and remove programs , and reinstall them through the Adobe website , this fixed nothing !!!!!

PS- I searched about 50 sites for this solution , and found that this is a common problem . Adobe will swear that they can't help , I know from personal experience as I'm a member at Adobe . When I read on some thread on either Malwarebytes or Tech support guy forum about the stand alone uninstallers and installers , naturally I went to Adobe and signed in and proceeded to look for them . Nothing !!! When I asked I was told " no such thing " I surfed around for a while and found them . I hope this will help anyone who has this problem .

A big thanks to everyone who tried to help !!!!

Skybane
