Having troubles

So, I've been having some spyware troubles and my friend recommended this program to me. I've tried it out, but it doesn't seem to be working right. When running the full scan, it scans the same folder (the skins folder of Yahoo messenger) over and over for 4 and a half hours. 5 million files scanned.

I had a desktop that never came close to that many files and I'm on a laptop now. Something's got to be wrong.
