Thinking of purchasing MalwareBytes

I've used the free version for MalwareBytes and it worked great removing the Security Tools malware, so I am thinking or purchasing the full/active version of MalwareBytes.

But I have a couple of questions.

1) Does MalwareBytes replace virus/spyware software I have on my computer, or should I use it in conjunction with a virus/spyware software.

2) Are there virus/spyware software programs that work better with MalwareBytes?

1. Malwarebytes does not replace your antivirus software, it is made to work hand in hand with it as a second layer of protection.

2. Most Antivirus or security software will work with Malwarebytes without any problems, but to avoid problems you can just enter the exceptions in your antivirus and firewall for MBAM as listed below:

Please exclude the following files from your antivirus:

Note: If using a software firewall besides the built in Windows Firewall you'll need to exclude them from it as well

For Windows XP:
