ITaskScheduler:NewWorkItem error 0x80070005

I am seeing the followin error: ITaskScheduler:NewWorkItem error 0x80070005 when trying to schedule updates and quick scans. It is happening on every laptop recently.

Laptop Config:

Malwarebytes 1.44 - purchased

McAfee VS 8.7i's

Windows XP SP3

Thinkpad T60, X60 and x300

I downloaded the latest version 1.44, disabled McAfee VS 8.7i's On Access process. Added mbam.exe to the exception lists in all parts of the On Access settings. Installed mbam. When I click on the Protection Tab and then click either Auto update or quick scan I get this error - ITaskScheduler:NewWorkItem error code 0x80070005.

I tried scheduling malwarebytes via the Windows Task Scheduler and it gives the same error code and the details say "access denied". I am logged in as an administrator, I also logged in as the local administrator and received the same error.

I've searched the forum and knowledge base but cannot find this mentioned at all. I can't belive I'm the only one with error as it is happening on all of my laptops.

I could really use some help on this. Thanks in advance.
