Win32 Malware gen, runtime error with MBAM

Hi

I've been trying to install and run MBAM to deal with Win32 Malware gen, as detected repeatedly by Avast.

I get runtime errors:

vbAccelerator SGrid II Control Run-time error '0'

Malwarebytes' AntiMalware Run-time error '440' Automation error.

Any help getting past these errors would be much appreciated. I've looked around the forum for different solutions to the problem, but they don't seem to be applicable in my case.
