Dell Inspiron S-L-O-W - Help!

For the last three days my almost 3 year old Dell Inspiron E1505 has been very, very slow, to the point that the computer is unusable. I've run multiple spyware, adware, and virus scans with a number of different programs, and come up with no results. I've done some searching and read a few posts on another site where heat was an issue and forcing the CPU to step down its performance, so now I have the laptop sitting on a cooling pad, though the temperature seems to spike when I boot the computer (70+ deg C)), though as I write this now, the CPU temp. is sitting at 47 deg. C. I've run a HijackThis scan, which I will insert below. I also looked at the running processes, of which there are usually between 88 and 93 - this seems like a lot to me, but I could be wrong. On top of that, only about 40-50 are visible in Task Manager, even when I choose 'View processes from all users.' The biggest 'offenders' as far as memory use, according to Task Manager are:

TeaTimer (I know this is part of Spybot S&D)

WDSmart (goes with my WD ext. HD)

YahooMessenger

explorer

dwm

googledesktop

The computer just started acting sluggish out of nowhere earlier in the week...I went to work in the morning and it was fine - when I came home - uh-oh. Now, the CPU generally runs at 100% capacity (according to I8kfanGUI) However, every now and then I've been able to re-start the computer, and it works like normal - like its almost brand new, but then I'll restart again, and it's sluggish. It's very strange.

Stats:

Dell Inspiron E1505

Vista Home Premium, SP2

T5600@1.83GHz

2GB RAM (this has always, always been plenty of RAM for my needs)

Firefox 3.6

I also did a MBAM scan which found Rogue.WinAntiVirus, which I then removed, but when I rebooted, the computer was still in the same shape. I am currently running a RootRepeal scan.

I'm at my wits end, and I don't know what else to do. The computer is still under warranty (for another month) but I hate to think this is something that requires a service call. If anyone has any ideas or can fix this, I would very, very much appreciate it. Thanks.

Welcome Big Show -

The warranty may not help if it is due to an infection - Also the Tea timer can be removed from Spybot or it can slow things down - Also do your basic maintaining like deleting temp internet files, download and run CCleaner each day -

If you want further malware removal assistance please follow the directions below -

As we don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in the general forums keep reading -
