So i feel my computer is taking longer to reload even after i have disabled a lot of useless startups. also, i have noticed that my computer is BSOD'ing at least once a weekend. that coupled with it not booting up at all and freezing on startup is worrying me.

what can i do to fix this?

thanks! :P

if it is BSOD'ing I'd recommend posting a hi-jack this log in the other forum http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showforum=7 and having an expert see if you may be infected with something. If it turns out to be all clean then try uninstalling useless programs you don't use as well, defragging may help, see if there are some startups conflicting (i'm not an expert in that but I'm sure someone else here could give you some ideas on it, i think there is a good way with the msconfig but I've never needed to do it so I'm not sure) and post your hardware here to sometimes more memory will help if you are like me and haven't bothered upgrading anything in 5 years.
