number3 Posted February 20, 2010 ID:202788 Share Posted February 20, 2010 Can't format my USB Thumbdrive to NTFS ---Went to Device Manager, selected my USB drive then properties and set the policy of the USB Stick device to "Optimize for Performance". Opened CMDTYPED: FORMAT H: /FS:NTFS /V:MyUSB /XIt starts the process and counts from 0-100% but at the end says ' FORMAT FAILED 'ANY suggestions..??
