Disabled.SecurityCenter, Hijack.Regedit, Hijack.TaskManager

Recommended Posts

Hi

Posting on behalf of a family member who has had problems with the registry infections on her own laptop as mentioned in the title and as a result task manger is disabled, the security center plays up and internet doesn't appear to work. Windows update also does not work.

She has run MBAM which detects the infections but are still present after reboot. The latest MBAM log follows:

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.44

Database version: 3510

Windows 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1

Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18828

Hello qrius ,Welcome to Malwarebytes.org

As you are badly infected we don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in the general forums.

Please print out, read, and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post - As the volunteer experts are very busy at the moment it may be up to 5 days until they respond -

Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org

Thank You - :)
