johnptx Posted February 23, 2010 ID:204813 Share Posted February 23, 2010 I'm getting the same error messge "MBVBVM60.DLL" not available when installing. I have installed visual basic 6 (installed OK). Uninstalled Anti-Malware using mbam-clean.exe, and reinstalled Ani Malware, performing restarts as directed. I still got the message. I tried to install visual basic service pack 6 but it was unsuccessful. This is getting out there for me, so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted February 24, 2010 Root Admin ID:204974 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Well if you can't even install the VB runtime files then you appear to have some other issues going on with your system. You should probably at least scan for Malware and if the system proves to be clean from Malware then you can see assistance in the PC Help forum. We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums. Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someon has replied to your post.Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org
