Problems with Safari and Adobe Flash?

Am I the only one that cannot get Flash Player to download with Safari??? Its very frustrating. And I think I tried with IE too and that didnt work. I dont remember tho. But either way I use Safari and I need help trouble shooting. Anyone?

I've recently installed flash player 10.1 beta manually (Mac + PC)to try out the new gpu accelerated feature from this link:

I have to say, Im a bit confused about the info on the page(Adobe Labs). I dont know which link to download and what the differences are. I dont want to do anything without knowing exactly what Im doing either. Can you help me out if I provide more info about my system to you?

Use the Bottom link but Untick the McAfee item -

I've tried this:

Download plug-in for Windows (EXE, 2.3 MB)

Pls make sure you un-install your current Flash Player... as stated above those download links.

Im still getting an "error" type message. When Im on Facebook and try to do certain things, and other various websites, a message pops up that says, "Safari cant find the Internet plug-in. Some content on the page "Facebook" cant be shown because its MIME type is unspecified."

What does this mean?

Pls check your Safari preference to make sure you are allowing Safari to use plug-ins. Click on the "gear" icon on the top right corner, then Preferences->Security. Check on Enable plug-ins.

Pls also try Reset Safari.... same "gear" icon... then Reset Safari.

If still don't work, i would re-install Safari

2 Seekit: I checked and I do have plug-ins enabled. I will wait a day or so and ten if problems still exist, Ill re-install.
