Can Malwarebytes pro and Avast 5 interfere with each other?

I use avast! Free and Pro on my systems without a problem.

If you upgrade to avast! Internet Security then you have to enable Malwarebytes access to the Internet in the firewall.

Just wondering :lol:

I installed full version of MBAM and free version of Avast on a system. Opening IE and some other tasks seemed slower.. Biggest problem was stuttering sound in Spotify and Youtube vids.. Is this a known issue?

Also.. How necessary is a AVP in combination with MBAM?

It is necessary to use an AVP in conjunction with MBAM as it is an anti malware application while avast! is anti virus.

I do not use Spotify as its not available in Canada and I do not have a problem with YouTube on my systems.
