exile360 Posted February 15, 2010 ID:200131 Share Posted February 15, 2010 I don't know, but I find it odd that almost every link on their site, whether to download or get support etc, leads to a page asking for your email address. I've seen rogues pull the same routine, but I can't say whether these guys are legit or not. I just don't like the impression their webpage makes, but that's just my opinion of course . noknojon Posted February 15, 2010 ID:200138 Share Posted February 15, 2010 -I find it odd that there is no reference to any / home base / country / or any other specific information -Cnet gives it 1 star rating - Which is its lowest (never seen a 0 rating) since it gets a commission per sale -I can not find any item in Wiki relating to this program also -

noknojon Posted February 15, 2010 ID:200161 Share Posted February 15, 2010 From Global Admin at Wilderssecurity -Well right off the bat it's for servers, so it's probably not ideal for home use.Thank You - EDIT - Also appears to clash with Kaspersky (from their forum) -

noknojon Posted February 16, 2010 ID:200621 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Do they mean by this statement that it is still an "In House" program and not a full public release ?? Or an add-on when you log on to their system ?? In an ongoing effort to provide additional protection to you while you use your computer at EICCD, the IT Department has deployed a new program called AppRanger. You may notice a new AppRanger icon on your PC desktop. AppRanger is a software package that scans and cleans your computer for spyware and malware.
