IP Block Question

I keep getting a popup from the IP Blocker saying that 121.13.177.158 was blocked. The same message (same IP) pops up every few minutes so I'm wondering if I have some sort of virus/spyware that is constantly trying to send out information. Does anyone know how to find out what's causing this so I can remove the problem?

Have you updated MBAM and ran a quick scan?

Did it find anything?

Do you use P2P software? (like bittorrent, limewire, etc)

Hi! Yea, my MBAM is fully updated and a full scan showed up clean. I also use Microsoft Security Essentials and that full scan was clean as well. I use bittorrent quite often. I keep getting messages saying that the same IP is being blocked over and over. It's just that 1 IP being blocked though.

I forgot to mention that this still happens after a fresh reboot with no other programs running.

Thanks for the suggestions! Hmm... I decided to clear ALL of my cookies and the IP blocker stopped popping up. Can cookies actually cause this sort of problem?

having bittorrent running will cause the IP blocker to popup as it may be blocking sites that it is trying to connect to that are not safe.

As for the cookies causing this I am not sure, unless the cookies were trying to get updated but could not cause they were being blocked.
