mountaintree16 Posted February 15, 2010 ID:199982 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Hi Chris, and welcome to the forums here at Malwarebytes.org Yes, you will need to purchase one license for each computer that you wish to install Malwarebytes Paid onto. Each license is good for a LIFEtime (not an annual subscription). They can be transferred to a new computer in the future as long as proper removal is done on the old machine (which we can provide directions for if/when you need them). When replying, please use the "Add Reply" button at the bottom of the page. Thank you Edit: Good catch prairie dog, not sure how I forgot about that

Chrisk-K Posted February 15, 2010 Author ID:200057 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Yeah, I'll order multiple copies. I'm currently using a well-known anti-malware program and it has failed to block & remove two nasty viruses from my wife's PC. I was going to reformat the PC and I somehow got to know about Malwarebytes. It completely removed those two nasty viruses! I'm sold.

It has an error message SHGET value failed with error zero. I agreed with you, I prefer Malwarebytes than the other Antivirus programs.Thank you,RR9445
prairie dog Posted February 16, 2010 ID:200636 Share Posted February 16, 2010 @RR9445MBAM is not meant to replace your antivirus. It is meant to run alongside it. You should definitely have an AV in addition to MBAM
mountaintree16 Posted February 16, 2010 ID:200678 Share Posted February 16, 2010 RR9445,Have you had any recent malware or virus infections on the computer that you are getting this error on, by any chance? And yes, like prairie dog said, Mbam is NOT meant to replace an anti-virus, but to work with it I hope that you are using an AntiVirus program as well. Please email support@malwarebytes.org so that they can assist you with this issue. Thank you.

mem Posted February 17, 2010 ID:201418 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Another forum has stated that a license is good for two PC's using a post in the Malware Removal section. If this is not the case, someone may want to look at changing the post:"...lifetime license. And yes, you can also use it on your 2nd computer. And yes, you can transfer the licenses, just save the license key somewhere (write it down/print it out) and you can use it again."http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...st&p=201073
