Every time I exit Malwarebytes 1.44 (running under WinXP), it crashes:

AppName: mbam.exe AppVer: 1.44.0.0 ModName: unknown

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 7678139c

I have tried uinstalling it and reinstalling. I have tried running the mbam clean utility after uninstalling. I have tried deleting every instance of mbam*.* and malwarebytes*.* on the computer and then reinstalling. Nothing works. After I get the program reinstalled, the crashing starts all over again. It actually crashes after install setup runs too, always crashing _iu14d2n.tmp. Malwarebytes itself seems to run ok... It lets me do full or express scans. It isn't finding any problems, so I don't know if it'll let me delete them, but I assume it would. I just don't understand why it continues to crash upon exiting the program and upon exiting setup. I've installed a number of other programs today and none of them have crashed.

As a side note, I have been getting a rootkit gen report lately from Avast based on files being created in my local settings \ temp folder. Malwarebytes and 4-5 other programs including several anti-rootkit apps. I've run all of these programs in both normal and safe modes, and they do not detect this rootkit problem, nor does Avast at bootup... it's only when running in background. I'm not sure if it is related to the malwarebytes crashing. I posted about that over in the Avast forums.
