Updated my site with new version.

We need to work on update notifications. Not that I would have seen an IM while I was playing Halo 2, but it would have at least been nice to know. If I hadn't checked the forums, it would have gone unnoticed... wink_happy.png

I would uninstall MBAM and reinstall it, but you might want to wait until Marcin or one of the other Malwarebytes people posts, as he may want more info about what's going on.

I just talked to Marcin, and he said he is trying to figure out why some people are having this issue (it's related to the real-time monitor, so in theory users of the free scanner should never see it). For now, just uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti Malware, and then download and install version 1.07.

Not sure this is an issue but will mention it. The monitor didn't start today with Windows start. I started it manually and protection was not enabled. I don't recall having to manually enable protection in past versions. Am I just having a poor memory day? :)

Update went fine to 1.07. But now it takes a long time to load the scanner by both double-clicking on the desktop icon or by right-clicking the tray icon, whereas it used to respond immediately. Everything else works well.

Today, I opened the scanner and got the attached infobox popup. I have never had this before and I have the pro version, protection shows as enabled and my license info is all on the about page.

Looks like it loaded in the wrong user profile ... Did you start it from the tray icon?

Yes I did start from the tray icon and there is only one user for the machine. I don't even have Guest enabled.

Are you running Vista or XP?

If Vista, have you disabled the UAC?

If XP, are you running as Administrator, or a custom profile?

Just tried to manually update but got this message:

Merror.gif

Select a different mirror. That should help.
