Computer won't open now!

We had a trojan that Norton wouldn't pick up so I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes. We then restarted the computer as requested. Now the computer opens to the screen saver and locks up. I can't get it to open in safe mode either. Suggestions? Did I delete something that wasn't malware?

Without logs to see what's going on it's difficult to tell what the issue is. There are thousands of Malware infections and many have different results and activity they do.
