MalwareBytes and ActiveSync 4.5

Ran a scan back on the 12th of Jan. Ever since ActiveSync will not sync our Intermec CK60. The ActiveSync Trouble shooter reports that we have Sygate Firewall installed. Unfortunately we do not use Sygate, we use Symantec Endpoint. I know that Symantec bought Sygate but we do not use that piece. My boss thinks that MalwareBytes is the culprit so I have been tasked to ask if Malware uses similar ports or what not to Sygate.

Have uninstalled MalwareBytes and reinstalled ActiveSync 4.5.

(Personally, I think it has been caused by some update corporate installed but they deny using Sygate.)

Well I for one can tell you that I use Microsoft Active Sync with my HTC Touch Pro 2, and also use the full version of Malwarebytes and I have no issues with using Active Sync.

Have you entered exceptions for active sync in your Symantec Endpoint protection?
