Please do not post too many other detailed instructions though - It may have fully repaired your system (well done) but we must not post too many general fixes on the open forum as some one without your knowlege may cause more problems by trying things they do not understand -

We must always look after those without information like you have as they have been known to come back and blame us -

I think you did exactly the right thing for Your computer at that time (Congrats) -

I have seen people remove vital programs with Hijack This - That is the only reason I replied as this -

A comment: The latest variants of malwares use multiple methods to re-inject their infection, even if you take out what you believe is the main one.
