Locked Files

Greetings "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" staff and posters:

I want to say that I am currently using the above entitled program (the Free Version) and it is very thorough, probably one of the best Anti-Malware programs I have ever come across, and I am now vigilantly saving my money, which I have very little of, in order to purchase the Full Version as soon as I can. I really love the program and it feels, as a gut feeling sort of, like one of the most honest and trust worthy Anti-Malware programs I have EVER used, so thank you so much to the software specialists who created it. Even the Free Version is well worth having, but I definitely want the Full Version right away. The program NEVER makes demands on me, or threatens me that my computer is about to crash unless I come up with a ton of money, it is just honest and straight forward, and most importantly, NEVER demanding a penny from me, leaving the decision completely up to me and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that kind of integrity from software and the company that creates and supplies it to us, the average and by no means rich, people on the Internet.

I was directed to your Program by a VERY good computer geek managed Help Forum called www.bleepingcomputer.com and THOSE people seriously know what they are talking about AND what they are doing. I think you can give them a round of applause for introducing your Anti-Malware software to a LOT of us who may never have heard of it otherwise.

I have a few questions and I hope you can help me. It relates to "locked files." I recently had some program I was just playing around with, tell me that I had ten or fifteen "locked files" but now I can't find the program that informed me of this so I guess my questions are:

a: How would you suggest I find "locked files" on my computer? I have NEVER locked ANY files intentionally, so I either did it accidentally OR they are some type of malware trying to avoid detection. Am I on the right track?

b. How can I tell, once I am certain I have located these locked files, if I should delete them or not, and IF I should delete them, HOW do I do so? I wish I could remember what program I was using that detected them, but I somehow got side tracked, and lost my access. It was probably one of those web based Anti-Virus programs, which obviously benefits themselves if they can tell me they have detected all sorts of threats that their program will get rid of as soon as I purchase it for $50.00 or $60.00.

c. Sorry, one more. I was directed to DL "STOPzilla - Award-winning Spyware Remover" and was told that it was a 60 day free trial, so I ran it, and it detected around 250 threats on my computer and I believe it has them Quarantined, but right after I did that first and ONLY scan, it "expired" and tells me if I purchase it, then it will delete all these threats if I so desire. I really want to purchase "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" instead, so my last question is, if I uninstall "STOPzilla" with those potential "threats" supposedly in its Quarantine section, will the threats delete WITH the deletion of "STOPzilla"? OR will it RESTORE all the malware threats it claims to have Quarantined?

I was deluged with rogue's, worms, vundo viruses, and hijackers, so I used STOPzilla and Malwarebytes, and the threats bombardment activities stopped immediately but only showed up as detected on STOPzilla, and not MBAM for some reason, but they ALL went away so it seemed legit but if I uninstall it and it restores them back on my computer I will probably have a heart attack because all the malware were in full on assault mode on my computer, opening page upon page upon page of pornography sites and anti-virus sites telling me to buy their product. It was horrible and nearly scared me to death in the ferociousness of the attacks. Now I walk on egg shells when online and I am paranoid.

Thank you So much in advance (for ANY help you can offer me),
