Guest remixed Posted February 25, 2008 ID:13753 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Firstly, apologies for the lack of a log it seems to have gone awol. After update i did a quick scan and MBAM flagged HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\XTZYas malware. I'm aware that this could be a reference to 'keyspy'... http://www.symantec.com/security_response/...-99&tabid=2 . However, the software MBAM identified was in fact ExeGuarder...http://siteadvisor.se/sites/exeicon.com/downloads/7912332/ and none of the registry or folder references identified by Symantec exist and 'Virustotal' found 0/32. Despite this i have to say i'm not inclined to recommend any changes. In my view if a software developer distributes malware in any form, all it's product should be targetted. I've uinstalled the software so it's up to you. Regards.
