Intel Mobo setup file - Trojan.Dropper

Recommended Posts

MBAM's full scan detects 2 objects as "Trojan.Dropper". Quick Scan does not detect them.

One is a file and one is a registry key.

The file is a file from my Intel Motherboard Setup Disk that I have saved on my computer

It has never been flagged before despite multiple full scans of it in the past so it I suspect it is a false positive.

I'm not sure about the registry key though.

I updated the MBAM database and the full scan result was the same.

I ran MBAM in developer mode and the log is attached. I have taken no action at this time.

When I ran MBAM in developer mode the program started but only after a error message appeared.

The error code was 700 (0, 0)
