I cannot run any exe in both safemode and normal mode. I've read through the "I am infected pinned item" but none of those operations are possible. I don't know if it will work for you, but when mine rebooted I had a couple of seconds to open the blocked programs before the virus kicked in. So try opening mbam as soon as the icon appears on screen and beat the virus to it. It took a few scans for mbam to find it, but once it does, it's history.
