Very Slow Network and Video Streaming

Recommended Posts

Hi There, I have a customer with a home network of 4 computers running Windows 7, the problem is that with the IP blocking feature activated in version 1.44 (and previous versions) the network data transfer is very slow and media streaming over the network is useless. to transfer a 700MB video file can take upto 40 minutes, turn off the IP blocking and it takes less than 60 seconds.

Any updates in the pipeline regarding the IP blocking feature?? Also the ability to turn off the notifications would be nice, I have had a couple of customers that really do not like this feature keep poping up every 5 minutes when they are on-line.

You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask me and I'll explain how to do it.

For the notifications, there is a registry setting that can be used to disable the notification pop-ups. It is the silentipmode option listed under Registry Switches for Controlling IP-Blocking located in the FAQ here

If you need anything else just post.
