Is 95.211.92.2 problematic?

I use a software program called AnVir Task Manager. I find it provides a lot more useful information than Windows Task Manager. However, in its Tools section, it referred me to a website that MBAM blocked as malicious: 95.211.92.2. The company is carambis.com, and AnVir refers users to that site for driver updates. Was MBAM's warning a false positive, or is there a genuine problem with this site?

Many thanks.

I'm hoping that someone from Malwarebytes will respond to this question, especially since someone else has indicated that Norton Safe Web claims the site is safe. I tried again this morning with the most recent version of MBAM (1.44) and the definitions updated to 3516, and MBAM still blocks the IP and the web address carambis.com. Is MBAM correct, or is this a false positive, as Norton seems to suggest?

Thanks in advance.

To all: please do not reply to a false positive topic unless you are a member of the experts/administrators or moderators group. I've removed a few posts in this topic from non-experts replying regarding False-positives.

Thanks :)

The IP is on a Leaseweb IP range, which is why it's currently blocked (I'm still going through the list of those that have been cleaned up on LW ranges). However, as I've said elsewhere, Anvir is a borderline rogue, and should not (in my opinion) be used.

The site Anvir directed you to (carambis.com), is NOT a driver update site OF ANY DESCRIPTION. It is a PAY FOR PROGRAM!!!.

Thanks very much, Steven, for your helpful response. I had my doubts about what carambis.com would offer, and I think it reflects very poorly on AnVir that they would promote such sites. Still, I do find that AnVir Task Manager Pro gives me some very useful information that the Windows Task Manager does not. I especially like the fact that I can have a dual icon in the system tray that will continually indicate my computer's CPU usage and memory usage and, if I click on the icon, it will give me more detailed stats by program.

I think AnVir's "security risk" ratings are highly unreliable, and I've got my doubts about some other things as well, but the program does perform some services I find quite useful.

Again, many thanks for clarifying MBAM's warning. I'll take it seriously.
