MBAM V1.43 FULL VERSION AND NORTON 360 V3.O FULL VERSION

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased/ installed MBAM 1.43 and Norton 360 V3.0 on my Windows XP system. Everything seemed to be working fine so I walked away from the computer while logged on to a web site and when I came back my system was shutting down and attempting to reboot. I tried several things and the only way I could get back into the computer was via reinstall.

At this point I have reinstalled all softwares but I haven't registerd MBAM yet and things seem to be stable. Does MBAM V1.43 full version conflict with Norton 360 V3.0? If so, are there any countermeasures I can take?

There is a bit of a conflict with Norton 360, as it is more controlling than the regular Norton Internet Security. Please add the following files to the exclusions list in Norton 360:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mbam.sys

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe

Norton 360 has 3 seperate areas for Exclusions (SCAN, AUTO PROTECT and SIGNATURE), should the files above be set in each of these sections to avoid the conflict ?
