can not access MWB at all

It has been a little while since I last used it, now I cant access it at all. Just get a message that windows can not access the specified device path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access them.

It has worked very well in the past for me, now I wonder if some malware got the shovel under it, i can see from a saved version I have version 1.30 from 2008

so I went and downloaded 1.42 and get: an error occurred while tryinbg to replace existing file Deletefile failed: code 32

the process can not acess the file because it is being used by aniother process. I did try retry, but didnt try ignore, so finally aborted

MBAM Version 1.30 is quite old. May I assume that this is not a paid-for-version and thus the Protection Module was not available?
