screen saver stops scan

I downloaded and ran the latest updates of Malwarebytes today(V. 1.42) I seem to be having a problem. The laptop went into screensaver mode while the scan was running. When i hit the space bar to bring it out of screen saver I had a the following message, " Are you sure you want to abort the scan". I replied no and the scan continued. This happened twice. No malware was detected however I have a feeling that the scan stopped before it should have. Are there steps I can take to make sure the scan continues when the computer goes into screen saver, sleepmode?

Well one suggestion I would think of, is either increase the time that it takes your computer to kick into screen saver mode, or disable the screen saver before a scan.

Thats it then, nothing serious going on here? It has not behaved this way in the past.

Well I am not a programmer for MBAM, or on their staff, I was just stating one possible solution. Give it some time, the folks here at MBAM will see this thread and possibly have a better solution.
