Additional Guard

Recommended Posts

Not sure where to post this, but if this is inappropriate, Im sure someone will move it.

I had a user become infected with Additional Guard scareware and one of the most recommended tools to remove this was Malwarebytes. Ive used MB for a long time and it just plain works when nothing else does...except this time. :(

Just wanted to post the fyi on it. Ran MB updated, in normal mode and safe mode. It detected and removed the files, but yet the infection remained.

I was able to clean the infection with Super Anti-Spyware.
