John L. Galt Posted January 13, 2008 ID:11784 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Updated here - will run scan later as WU is clamoring about restarting machine - but Monitor needs admin privileges to run, and thus is blocked at running at startup on Vista machines. dr_Bora Posted January 13, 2008 ID:11787 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Well, I had some trouble with this one...After the update was complete, i tried to change the language:If I choose any of those wierd looking ones (), I get this:MBAM closes after that. If I try to run it again, it won't start:The only way to start it (in this example) is to remove francais.lng from the languages folder.Anyway, it seems the problem was caused by duplicate language files (francais-french, srpski-serbian, ...) that were used by the previous version.I uninstalled and then did a clean install - no more duplicate lng files and all working fine now... Root Admin RubbeR DuckY Posted January 13, 2008 Author Root Admin ID:11805 Share Posted January 13, 2008 If you are having the language problem, you will need to either delete the offending language files or reinstall the application. The reason for this is the change of language names. The joys of beta testing.
