dreaded error code 732 (0,0)

Recommended Posts

Hey folks. I keep getting the 732 (0,0) error code whenever I try to update malwarebytes.

Yesterday I had the antivirus system pro trojan on my comp and managed to get rid of it using malware bytes. However since then I cannot update Malware bytes. I have uninstalled the program, cleaned it from the system using the tool, and re-installed with no success. The current version of Malware is 1.41

I am using AVG internet security as my antivirus software but I kept getting the error before I installed AVG. I was using Norton Antivirus but it was out of date because I could not afford a new subscription.

My internet connection seems fine. I think this error is directed towards a no internet signal or interrupted connection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Please review the FAQ for a possible solution.

The only solution listed is to check internet connectivity....

Error 732: Error updating the database or product. Check Internet connectivity.

I am assuming that since I can still use the 'net my connectivity is just fine.

Not really a techie type person but it bugs me that I cannot update Malware so I am guessing that I don't have access to the latest malware fixes...

Check and make sure your Firewall and/or Anti-Virus is not blocking the update as this is very common.

If you still cannot get updates to work please post as shown below.
