cod.exe potential trojan?

While we wait for the staff to review, I want to pass some info on to you, Staff will check the IP and if not bad anymore they will delist it.

It must be due to some server(s) the games are trying to connect to. Many games connect to many different IP's to play online.

Some of those IP's get blocked for one reason or another.

The game itself is not a virus.

It does make me wonder why a game application would need to go to Amazon

Amazon sells webspace.

much less require admin elevation.

Many games will need elevation. Do any of your other Steam games need elevation?

Hello,

That is a valid block as well.

You can suspend notifications while playing the game.
Open Malwarebytes > settings > Notifications > toggle on "play mode" if not already on > click "configure" > add item > This opens an explorer window where you can choose your cod.exe > click "open".
MBAM still does its job, it is just quiet about it while you are in game.
