How to find my ad blocker?!

Recommended Posts

I have been kept out of sites due to my "ad-blocker".  I usually just click the site off and go elsewhere. This time I REALLY need to get access to this site. The site pops up and then the page denying me access says "AD BLOCKER DETECTED". Then "To continue on our site, simply turn off your ad blocker and refresh the page".

I do not know what my ad blocker is. I looked up how to find it and all it said was there should be an icon in my taskbar indicating it was an ad blocker. All I saw was IOBIT MALWARE FIGHTER 11. I disabled the real-time protection. That did not work so I went to Programs and Features and the only other thing I saw that may be blocking ads was MALWARE-BYTES Ver. 5.1.6.117.

I did not remove it or do anything with it. I came to this forum to see if anyone knows if that could be my ad blocker. I do not know how to find it or where. I did not want to remove it without checking first because sometimes I get programs from "GiveAwayofTheDay" which if you uninstall the program you cannot reinstall it again.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I certainly would appreciate any help/ Oh, I checked my extensions and saw nothing that appeared to be an ad blocker. THANKS Everyone!!

Uninstall it and never use it again.

What site is giving the issue that you wish to use really badly?

Now to your issue, The ad blocking is from Malwarebytes Browser Guard. It is an extension in your Browser.

Click on the extension icon
